Waalflower Kitchen & Cocktails is a restaurant located within the hundred year-old De Waal building in the heart of Bridgeland. They focus on sustainable and local ingredients to create inviting, community inspired eats and cocktails. Their cocktail menu pairs classic cocktails with modern mixology, offering light and uplifting creations.

They work with a number of local farmers and producers which will be featured on their Alberta On The Plate menu. For their beer and distillery pairing suggestions, they’ve created their own Lager in collaboration with Bruerei Fahr in Turner Valley coined Perks of being a Waal Lager.

The restaurant not only has a superstar culinary team, they have a master mixologist behind the bar, Justin Darnes. Justin Darnes has been working in the hospitality industry for two decades after 12 years in the film industry. Throughout his time in the restaurant industry he has worked for some of the most prestigious bars in world and designed cocktails for big names such as George Clooney, Kings of Leon, Bon Jovi, Prince Charles, Wayne Gretzky and many others.

Their kitchen offers fresh and approachable dishes that are perfectly shareable for the table. Their Alberta on the plate menu features Brant Lake wagyu, which is Alberta raised, grass-fed and hormone free, Sunfresh Farms vegetables and more.
